Hello, I am selling this item on consignment. The owner is not sure how old it is, but she is 86 and remembers her mother used to play it for her as a young child, so it is definitely from the 1930's, and possibly the 20's. It appears to be in excellent shape, feels very solid and does not appear to have any cracks or damage. It obviously needs new strings, but that is relatively minor. Please note: I'm "just the drummer" so I don't know a lot about stringed instruments, but this uke sure looks like the type 1 seen in related listings. Please correct me if I'm wrong! The case is pretty beat up, but I am including it because it will keep it safe while it is being shipped. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Thank you!
