A quality oboe for the accomplished student.The BC4052 is the intermediate oboe designed for advanced students to prepare them for the professional models. Made of African blackwood (Grenadilla wood), the bore design is based on the professional oboe and has a resin-lined bore to help make the instrument highly crack resistant. It is lined with a luracast coating (an epoxy resin) to resist cracking. Key of C. African blackwood body, full conservatory system without the split ring Eb-E trill key, and silver-plated keys. Fish skin pads on the upper joint and cork pads on the lower joint make for perfect airtightness.This key of C semi-automatic conservatory model features a French fingering system with silver-plated keywork that includes a 3rd octave key, fork F, double G# and Eb key, double C# trill key, left F-lever, and a low Bb resonance key. Includes standard pochette case.This oboe comes with its original Buffet Crampon wood case and leather strap handle. There is some wear to the exterior lining of the case on the edge, as seen in the picture above, but it doesn't affect the case or the oboe. This is a used oboe and the pads and corks have been checked by an certified repairman. Brand new, this oboe lists at least twice the list price in this auction.
