Trained in America, he was one of the first ukulele and guitar repairmen in Japan.His instruments are known for their extremely lightweight construction and vintage-style good looks.This unusual instrument has solid very old Brazilian Rosewood wood back and sides with awesome grain,and a premium curly koa top for real Hawaiian sound. It even has a curly koa neck, Rosewood bridge and fretboard with paua shell dot markers and a bone saddle and 36 mm. bone nut.Low string height for ease of playing and fluorocarbon strings for crisp highs.Curly maple top binding and real paua shell rosette, top binding and unique "Antar" headstock logo. White side dot markers at 5,7,10,12, and 15th frets, mirroring the fretboard markers.14 fret joint, with 18 frets total. Top-of-the-line gear tuners with ebony buttons.Carefully hand-made with an attention to detail, and with a beautiful high-gloss finish.
