Model 40 For sale is a Vintage C. Meisel 3/4 cello, laminated maple back and sides, spruce top, ebony fittings. C. Meisel Fine Violins made this beautiful high quality cello in West Germany, which helps to date the piece (between WWII and German reunification). Serial No. 7060. The bow is new. I have also purchased a brand new hard case that will be included in this sale (a $250 value). Please feel free to make a reasonable offer. I will work with you.
The scroll is beautifully sculpted. Cello is in very good condition. 45" long plus 2 1/2" for the end pin at bottom. It is 17" wide at widest and approx 14" on top section of the base. Approx. 5" in depth.
