Description

This auction is for a Yamaha YCL-220 Bass Clarinet in Great Condition.  Yamaha instruments are known for their consistency and high quality.  This great Bass clarinet is perfect for a student just starting out on bass clarinet.  Bass clarinets are notorious for their difficult upper register.  The yamaha instruments generally play a bit easier on the high register compared to other brands, so I highly reccomend this instrument for the beginning bass clarinetist.  This model became the 221 a few years ago, but is equivalent in quality and setup.  The 220 is a resonite bass clarinet, which seals a little better and you don't have to worry about cracks.  In terms of condition, this instrument is in nice shape, with a few scratches from normal use and some very minor wear on the plating.  There is a dent around the base of the bell.  The logos are faded, but are visible in the right light.  In terms of playability, this is a great instrument.  We ended up replacing a few worn pads and regulating the instrument to make sure it seals properly.  The case is sturdy, and has plenty of storage space, but has some wear.  Also included, is a Peg, neck strap, mouthpiece, ligature, and reed.  Everything you need to get started. Why Buy From Us? We actually fix the instruments we sell! Unlike many sellers on eBay who claim not to know anything about the instruments they are selling, we are woodwind specialists with decades of combined experience. We care about how all our instruments sound and play, and our feedback record reflects that. We professionally adjust, overhaul, and clean up all instruments that we sell to insure you the highest quality musical instruments available on eBay. This process takes hours for each individual horn and would normally cost several hundred dollars at your local music shop. This 10+ point process means replacing worn and damaged pads, adjusting the position of leaky pads to seal properly, adjusting and replacing damaged springs, making sure the instrument is regulated to play all alternate fingerings, replacing loose cork connectors, instrument cleaning, oiling, playtesting, and steralizing the instrument. You can be assured that when you receive the instrument it will be in top playing condition.  We are so confident that you will not only enjoy, but love your new instrument that we offer a 14-day no questions asked money back guarantee on all our instruments. If you are not satisfied in any way with your purchase, return the instrument for a full refund minus shipping.
