Up for sale, a 1980's Korg CX-3 organ in good working order, complete with a form-fit flight case! This CX-3 was the first version of this now legendary model, and this particular example functions exactly as intended, with all drawbars and settings responding as they should. Created as a portable, analog solution to the Hammond B3, the CX-3 faithfully captures the nuance and tonal richness of a tonewheel organ, complete with a set of nine drawbars, a master EQ section, and a built-in rotary speaker simulator. The keys are level and balanced, and the response is consistent across all registers. The keycaps are clean and white, with no cracks or notable signs of wear.The enclosure shows some honest gigging wear, with scratches on the laminate wood top, and some wear along the edges of the organ on the wood that frames the keys. The raised Korg logo on the face of the organ is intact, along with all of the original drawbar tips and knobs. The underside of the organ has original flanges for mounting legs when you want the CX-3 to stand on its own, and the keyboard is fitted with a fixed two-prong power cable.Perfect for a studio environment and an ideal gigging setup as well, this is a desirable and discontinued organ that faithfully captures Hammond's classic organ tones.A foam lined "USA Case" carpeted flight case is included.
