1949 Buescher Aristocrat Series II Model 140 Big B Alto Saxophone 1949 Buescher Aristocrat Series II Model 140 Big B Alto Saxophone - Serial #317XXX - Year 1949 - Series II AristocratOverall the sax is in pretty good condition. Has the original Gold Plated Norton Springs, looks as though all the original Buescher Snap Ins are still there. Finish looks original, no sign of buffing around the engraving, though it looks like there may have been a topcoat put on this one as the lacquer looks to be over the engraving. We've debated this in our shop and no one is certain either way. Neck also looks to be the original though not marked with a serial number, it does look like it is marked "07". Comes with the original brass end plug, and comes in a Vintage Conn case. See pics for more details and feel free to ask any questions.
