This auction is for a beautiful 1987 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24. Brazilian rosewood fret board. Frets in excellent shape.. Beautiful deep. Cherry finish and original PRS, T&B pick-ups. Has the very desirable sweet switch. Beautiful moon inlays on neck. Fit and finish is excellent. Also has mil-tech bridge with tremolo arm. Comes with original hard case that is a bit rough but does the job. Now there is a slight problem. Many years ago the neck cracked but did not break. It was professionally repaired and is solid as a rock. There are NO issues with this guitar. Playing, tuning, intonation are excellent . Stays in tune too. The serial number for this guitar is under 2500. This was the time when Paul himself was working guitars. This 1987 is a more favorable year, certain to appreciate in value. Think about it to buy one liked this one without the crack your going to pay 3000.00-4500.00. PRS will fix it for about 600.00. If you want a great example of PRS history you are looking at it.
There are some minor light scratches and chips on the guitar. There is a chip on the top of the head stock as pictured. I also wished that I would have wiped the dust off better. This is a beautiful guitar in every way. I prefer to have PAYMENT made by CREDIT CARD as I accept credit cards. If that's a problem for you payment by PAYPAL is just fine.
