I bought this from the Sony Whitfield Street studio sale, and have used it only in my private room. The date code puts manufacture at August 1972 according to Neumann. It has cosmetic wear and tear as you would expect from a mic of this age, but still sounds fantastic. There is a slight issue with the XLR connector at the bottom, it needs some attention as it slides out, so you need to be careful when attaching or disconnecting a mic lead, but it's in perfect working order, it's a minor repair, I never got around to it. When the lead clicks in it holds in place as normal. The auction is for the mic only, it doesn't have a cradle or box.
