BR-909 Rhythm Imposer Roland TR 808 909 Emulator (Modified Alesis HR16) Welcome to my listing for the BR-909 Rhythm Imposer. This was built by Brad Holland of Isla Instruments with great care. I've had it for about 6 months, and I still have not used every kit available. Anyone who's ever used an HR-16 will be blown away with this mod and how deep this machine actually can be. It's a great unit, but I'm saving up for an OB-6. This is a heavily modified version of the Alesis HR-16 drum machine from the late 80s/90s. The creator developed his own custom PCB board to house all the modifications. Most notable features added are: - Ability to quickly replace sound bank chips using the quick release sockets mounted to the top of the unit - Full LTC1799 Pitch Modification, allowing you to change the overall pitch of the whole machine (can go SUUUUUPER slow (a snare can last around 7seconds) ) and also around 20% higher in pitch. It's also worth noting that all sounds can individually pitched/tuned also as standard. It makes for great turntable style slow downs etc. - Updatable STEREO DSP FX System, including Low and High Pass filters, Bitcrush, reverb, delays etc. Used in conjunction with the multiple outputs makes the machine super powerful. Endless fun or just use it to make the sounds a little dirtier.. - Gorgeous solid walnut side panels really set the look of the machine off. 12 x 2 way bend switches. Each switch has 2 bends and center off, I think the combination is something like 4096 possible bends. Kits currently included are: Oberheim DMX LinnDrum (Lm-1, LM-2, 2000) SCI Drumtraks Roland TR-909 Roland TR-808 Roland TR-606 8-Bit Kit (Think Nintendo, Gameboy, Sega Etc) C64 SID (Multiple samples from the VxxY, SidStation and other sources) Korg Vintage Analogue (KPR-77, KR-33, KR-44, Minipops, Minipops 7, Minipops 120) Roland Vintage Analogue (CR-68, CR-78, CR-8000) Roland Vintage Digital (TR505, TR626, TR707, TR727) Vintage Collection VOL I Vintage Collection VOL II EMU SP12/Drumulator Classic Jungle Kit (Amen Break and classic jungle samples) these eproms alone are at value of well over $200. view a thread on Reddit about this machine here: drum machine modular eurorack 606 808 909 303 synthesizer arturia dave smith prophet zoom native instruments maschine roland korg akai mpc mpc2000 mpc1000 tetra alesis minilogue ms2000 acidlab behringer bass keyboard 707 505 sp-404 rack motu multi effects workstation emu dmx syncussion
