Description
Brand: Leblanc Skill Level: Professional
Key: Bb Country/Region of Manufacture: France
Body Material: Wood

This is a wide bore (15mm) instrument. The H Dynamic clarinet was made as a "top of the range" Leblanc, the specification includes: Offset trill keys, balanced key action, separate post mounted, C#/G# keys and Ab/Eb keys. Tapered tone holes and a cylindrical upper joint. The bore, at 15.00mm, was the largest that Leblanc manufactured in a Bb Clarinet, and as the name H, for high, Dynamic suggests, it was made for the jazz market and competed with the Selmer Series 9. The intonation and response is the equal of the most expensive French instruments sold today. The wood is in overall good condition, except for the bell where there is a cracked about 3" long. But does not seem to affect the playing if the instrument. This could easily filled or pinned by a professional repairman. Most of the pads are in fair to good condition. The tenon corks still fit tight and the silver plating on the keys are in good condition. Some of the keys have some tarnishing but will come off. The posts seem to have lost some of their plating. The case is the original and in good condition. Also, adding in a Selmer HS Star French mouthpiece. Any other questions or concerns or extra pictures please ask. Instrument is being sold as is and no returns or refunds.
