Yanagisawa Tenor Sax model T901. A professional quality horn, keywork up to high f#. Original neck included with no pull down. Single owner, myself. Bought this horn immediately out of high school, got me through college extremely smoothly. Suited well for both concert and jazz playing, but I used it mostly for jazz. I've played on a number of saxes including a Selmer Super Balanced action and a mid 60's Mark VI, but this horn easily outplays them all. It's freeblowing with a cutting upper register, but the low notes are dark and brooding. Overtones pop with ease, altissimo comes out no problem. Just replaced the pads two months ago, haven't played it much since. Includes three mouthpieces. A Brilhart with a 5 tip opening (pretty small), and a piece I had custom made for funk and fusion playing, an 8* PPT. Both blow well! The third piece is a classical Yanagisawa that came with the horn when I bought it. Also comes with a neck strap.
