Up for sale is a 2007 Fender Custom Telecaster FMT HH with a Spalted Maple top. This guitar was made in Korea and NOT Indonesia like most of the ones on here. Supposedly the Korean one had better quality control. The back is . It has two Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The nut id a graph tech nut which was a standard for this model. It has a C profile neck which is slim and fast. The previous owner had a Fishman acoustic bridge installed $200) along with the power chip ($99) to control it. The power chip allows the player to use a standard mono cable rather than a Y cable to an acoustic amp. I play a lot of musical theater gigs and have used this for a number of shows. When a lithium battery is installed for the chip it sounds just like a real acoustic guitar. Way better than any acoustic simulator pedal I have heard or used. I now have an acoustic with a pickup in it so I no longer need this guitar. It comes with a molded Fender case and locking strap locks.Specs:
Top: Spalted MapleTuners: Stander Fender tuners
Nut: Graph tech
Pick ups: Seymour Duncan Humbuckers
Bridge: Fishman Powerbridge pickup with the power chip
Controls: Three knobs. two for volume and one for tone. One of them has a push-pull pot which allows you to turn the humbuckers into single coils. The toggle between the knobs controls the bridge pickup. It can be toggled to use both the pick ups and the bridge pick up at the same time. Or just the magnetic pickups or the bridge pickup alone. This is a super versatile guitar that can get a huge variety of sounds. I just currently do not have the room for it in my apt. My loss is your gain.Sold as is. It's in perfect working order with out any flaws.
