This is a VERY NICE Buffet model 3613G greenline professional obobe. Buffet is a relative newcomer to the high-end oboe market but I'd put this instrument up against any Loree Marigaux or Rigotaut you can find. The Greenline instruments were developed in response to the increasing scarcity of grenadilla wood and are created through a process where grenadilla wood dust is fused with a composite material to create a consistent high quality manufactured wood with terrific acoustic properties. Each instrument is individually hand-voiced and sounds GREAT. This one is excellent. Pads and action are outstanding and this instrument plays GREAT as is. Pics tell the rest of the story!
