All we ask is all shipping costs are covered by the buyerDeclaration of safety checks prior to selling this vintage used unit. Sale of used vintage equipment. These units are from vintage British 1960s audio recording machines. We have fully tested and checked for electrical safety making small changes to comply with modern safety standards. The original units would not comply with modern electrical safety standards having vintage Bulgin style mains inlet sockets and exposed electrical contacts for voltage selections which would now have been considered a shock hazard by today’s safety standards. To make the units comply with modern safety standards we have now fitted the power supply internally to an enclosure where no hazardous connections are present from external use. This includes the fitting of a CE approved fused 3 pin IEC mains inlet socket to the rear panel and relevant safety earth has been fitted to the case and modules. Each unit is then safety tested with a PAT test meter.
This appliance must be earthed. Any repairs or service should be carried out by a competent engineer/technician.
