ANTIQUE NATIONAL TRIOLIAN RESONATOR UKULELE CIRCA EARLY/MID 1930's SERIAL # 610!A highly sought after piece...They were only made between the years of 1930 to 1940. Ukulele construction: Metal body with wood neck.It is missing its nut and there is a small crack on the fret board where neck meets body...I have easily put pressure squeezing both sides of the fret board in the area and the crack closes right up so it would be an easy repair if chosen to do so. The body has several spots where the enamel finish has chipped off and there is normal wear overall but overall everything looks pretty good (for an instrument that is better than 80 years old).Frets are in good condition and all looks fine with the resonator.This is a gorgeous rare instrument and I would love to replace the nut and add it to my collection but given some thought...I am a guitar player and play ukulele more for fun...I would much rather put this in the hands of a serious player who would play and appreciate it for the fabulous piece this is.
