...You will be receiving ...TWO complete Sony C-37A Condenser Microphones (SN 2116 & 2133) with CP-2 Power Supplies (SN 7B121 & 7B154). They have been in storage for 56 years and were used less than 300 hours prior to being stored. The C-37A microphone is well-known for its smooth, creamy sound – marvelous for voice recording. It has a very flat frequency response (Per Sony, 20-18,000 cycles +/- 2 db). The C-37A provides for uni-directional to omni-directional selection and has a 3-position bass roll-off switch to adjust for room acoustics. Each microphone comes with the factory wood carrying case (some scratches), the original 33 ft. microphone-to-power-supply cable and the original 12 ft. power-supply-to-audio cable. Per Sony, with extensions (not provided) the microphone-to- power-supply distance can be increased to 240 feet with no effect on frequency response. Output impedance is 200 Ohms. Note: These microphones were built very near the same time which is a definite plus.Included: is the original factory engineering handbook.Test routine is included (typical response curves) circuit diagram, Spec. sheet. and description.These have recently gotten great press on SOUND CITY documentary ... Best for MIC vocals!World Class vintage ca. 1957These were used at a demo recording at HENRY'S on Melrose in Hollywood which resulted in a recording contract and an album.
