1968 Ramirez Studio Brazilian Rosewood - George Harrison Model
Estimated price for orientation: 1 800 $
Category: Classical Guitars
Class:
Description
This is a particularly clean and stunning example of the Ramirez Estudio ca. 1968.It is constructed of back and ribs- nicely grained Brazilian Rosewood Spanish Pine Top the same as used on the 2A. Usually these are considered a lesser grade instrument with corresponding tone but this is a distinct exception to the rule. Listen to the tracks George Harrison used his Estudio on and this has that same warm singing tone he made famous. This has a rich full bass and a warm but clear and projecting midrange and treble response. The condition is superb. No issues whatsoever. A real museum piece. Whether you're a fan of Georges or just like great sounding classical guitars- this one is an investment grade keeper.
