It includes: 22" Paiste Symphonic Gong, one of mankind’s most marvelous works of sonorous metal 22" Paiste Floor Gong Stand – "C" Style Stand Dimensions For 22" Gongs H: 30" W: 28" M2 Paiste Gong Mallet which is appropriate for this gong This gong on this stand is perfect for those gong players involved in kundalini yoga practice, sound healers, or others that like to be seated on the floor while playing their gong. The Paiste Gong is made from a metal called nickel-silver, which is different that the traditional bronze that Chinese Gongs are made from. It is lighter and produces a more refined tone. The Paiste Floor Gong Stand is made of solid iron, it is not tubular steel like most square gong stands. This makes it heavier and able to support the gong with smaller feet. The depth of the feet is minimal, allowing you to sit closer to the gong. The Paiste Gong Mallet is specifically designed for the Paiste Gong. It has a soft synthetic lambs wool covering the heavier inside. This protects the gong while allowing you to create a deep full sound. While we have chosen the mallet that we find works admirably on this size gong, if you are interested in a different sized mallet, please contact us before purchase and we can organize this.
