This is an absolutely Beautiful ! 1970 Ludwig Kit. 22" bass drum 12,13,mounted toms & 16" floor tom. 3 ply with reinforcement rings/hoops shells. Interiors are Beautiful clean, natural Maple. Chrome is excellent Plus ! .Really no pitting to speak of. Just a light sign of pitting here and there. Original Black Oyster wrap is in EXCELLENT PLUS condition.Zero fade and has way less than Normal wear, There may be a few very minor scratches etc. But I really can't find any to speak of. I just installed all brand new heads on it today. All 3 toms have new Remo white coated amb. on the bottoms and new Remo white coated emp. on the tops. Bass drum has its original logo head on the front ( has a mic port ) and a fairly new Remo pinstripe batter head. This is a one owner kit That was stored in cases for most of its life. The original owner bought this kit in 1970. He said he really didn't gig out with the kit. stayed at home were he jammed occasionally threw the last 45 years. The original owner miss placed the original 5/16 spurs and could not find them. so i received them missing the spurs. I did not have a pair of 5/16 spurs but did have a pair of 1/2 spurs and brackets. I took the 5/16 brackets off and installed the 1/2 spurs & brackets. NO EXTRA HOLES WERE DRILLED AND THE LARGE SPUR HOLES WERE NOT ENLARGED. They fit perfectly in the original factory drilled holes. This is a factory matched kit. All rims, tension rods, washers are original. there are no serial numbers on all the Blue & Olive badges. badges are in excellent condition with exception of the 13" tom badge. it has some scratches. All bearing edges are factory and good.JUST A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THIS FINISH/ERA KIT!( depth x head )14" x 22" bass drum - Has 20 large classic lugs , t-rods and claws. 1/2" curved spurs, double tom post & bracket. Hoops are in excellent condition ( has usual paint chipping and mark from b.d. pedal.)and both have complete original inlays.Has original ludwig logo head on the reso side and a Remo pinstripe on the batter side.
