This mid 1980s tuba is in excellent condition as can been seen from the photos. The 1980s was the era when the Besson / Boosey and Hawkes factory produced some of the best instruments ever meaning they are very sought after now, some 30 years later. This instrument plays very well also as you would expect and produces a warm rich tone throughout the range The valves are slick and quiet as you would expect and all the tuning slides are free. The valves are still like new. Cosmetically the instrument is a very nice example. Comes with a hard case which is also in good condition. Collection of the instrument repaired and it will only be shipped if the buyer accepts responsibility for any damage in transit. Payment preference if cash on collection or bank transfer.
