Schecter PT USA Custom 2016 Butterscotch BlondeCloned "PT" in reference to the legendary guitarist Pete Townsend, this is schecter's "custom shop" masterpiece! In some ways this guitar could be compared to a "tele" but in other ways, it's really its own model......you may already be aware of the buzz that the Schecter Custom shop is creating at their Sun Valley California facility, but we are just absolutely blown away every time we play a new guitar from these guys! They are literally on par with the likes of Tom Anderson and Suhr.This particular guitar has schecter handwound pickups and with the combination of the brass barrel saddles, it has a very vintage tone.....maybe a tad on the hot side of the spectrum. Nonetheless, very articulate, and wonderful intonation on the maple fingerboard. The neck is honestly our favorite part of this guitar because even though it's a chunky 50's style grind, it's still super comfortable! The guitar just feels like a 50's tele, but with all of the modern improvements with locking tuners, impeccable frets, and a set of pickups that are just really easy to make good tone with.Check out our Facebook page for demos using this guitar.
