A BIG thank you to David from  Legenday Ukuleles.com for identifying this instrument for me.  Top Notch Guy!  VISIT his site please! This is my Father's Ukulele believed to be a Vintage Oscar Schmidt "Genuine Hawaian Ukele" Believed to be 1920's model. Buyer must do their own due diligence as this instrument has been very difficult to pinpoint an exact maker.  It is a beautiful Ukelele given to my father (his parents) as a gift when he was born by his uncle.  His Uncle John was in General George Patton's 3rd Army 95th Division and traveled extensively around the world.
Not much is actually known about this instrument.  I did bring it to renowned guitar luthier Paul Unkert, who also builds Ukeles on the side.  He couldn't identify a particular maker but was extremely impressed by the detailed inlay work and also the bridge shape.  So much so that he said he will make his modern ukeleles with a similar bridge,  We do know that it is a beautiful Koa wood (to me it looks like a lighter Brazillian Rosewood used on guitars)  but it is definitely Koa. Comes with a New Martin Soft Case That I Purchased For It.Thank you for looking.
