Up for auction is this amazing vintage 19977 Hiwatt Custom 50 tube amp. As you can see in the pics, this amp has led a long interesting life with many years on the road. It shows lots of wear and tear. I purchased it from an award winning recording artist and producer. It was just taken to a master amp tech, and is now working and sounding great!! I've included a few pictures of the chassis and inside of the amp. The power tubes are a new set of JJs. The transformer on the right in picture 11 has been replaced many years ago. This amp was intended for the Canadian market, so it is labeled as a DR505. Its exactly the same as a DR504 except for the voltage selector is missing. In other words, this amp is setup to run on 120v only. I had a buddy of mine make me a Hiwatt emblem on a CNC router. I never used it, but it is included. I also added the gold handle after the pics from the Tech we taken. Overall, this is an awesome amp that I am confident the high bidder will love.
