Powered by Frooition Pro 1982 Strings and Things Custom Electric Guitar - Black w/ Hard Shell Case Item Description 1982 Stings and Things Custom Electric Guitar in good condition with some playwear and lighter dings on the front. The back has some playwear and some more extensive scrapes on the back. The scratching on the back goes through the top layer of paint exposing a Lake Placid blue color, we believe this was done at the factory and not a refinish. Classic Black finish on the Strat shaped body with aged white binding and chrome hardware. The guitar has a nice action and the one-piece maple neck with a soft "V" profile neck has a great custom feel. The frets are smooth feeling and in good condition with light playwear. The single humbucker pickup appears to be a DiMarzio Super Distortion Dual Sound that has great tone and output. The pickup goes through a single volume control that pulls up to split the pickup to single coil mode. This gives you some good tonal options. The guitar is equipped with a vintage Kahler tremolo bridge, locking nut and vintage style tuners. This is an incredible instrument made by Tom Keckler who was a tech for a lot of bands and rockstars (Clapton, Beck, Walsh...) in the 70's, 80's and 90's as well as being head of R&D at Schecter. These guitars have a great reputation and this one feels, sounds and plays great. Includes a hard shell case and the adjustment tool on the back of the headstock. The tremolo arm is missing and is not included. Made in the USA.
