The ultimate Jimi Hendrix guitar!! Here's a video of THIS very guitar!!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z90jnVZjE78Beautiful hand painted Jimi Hendrix Monterey Pop Festival artwork design (which has been lacquered for protection). Extremely resonant body, it has that woody Hendrix tone! The most stunning guitar neck I have ever seen, here are the specs:
*Shaft wood: Flame Maple Premium 5A
*Fingerboard: Slab Board (Indian rosewood)
*Top & side dots: Real Aged Clay
*Fret Size: Jumbo (6100 )
*Neck Profile: SRV Asymmetrical (84 97)
*Nut: Bone
*Tuners: Vintage Style Kluson The neck has real clay dots & rosewood slab board just like on a pre-cbs 60's strat! Ultra rare!!! This neck was custom made to these specs by a custom shop boutique builder in New York for me (Non Fender). Fender haven't made necks with these features on since the early sixties and even then the necks came with skinny frets & thin neck profiles, I had this made to an SRV style neck profile & large jumbo frets.... this neck is a one of a kind! ....I managed to trace down a 1963 Fender water-slide decal and had it applied professionally (The decal hasn't been lacquered over yet to preserve it, I recommend doing this unless you want it to slowly rub off... eventually giving it a more vintage look). As you can see in the photos the neck has had a slight relicing treatment by the builder and now has a gorgeous patina! The string tree is from an original 60's strat and has corroded (which I like the look of).This is the flamiest strat neck I've ever seen, it does look different in different lights & I've tried to portray that in the photos by taking 2 shots of the headstock side by side...one with natural light & one with artificial light.In the sale I'll include a Kaces guitar carry case which is very well padded, the guitar will be extremely well packaged and sent fully tracked and signed for! Cash on collection would be preferred.
