The fretboard is Beanwood with pearloid binding. By early 1930, both Red bean an Makkochuba were replaced by rosewood.Closet find.Stupid clean.Almost mint. . . .just a few dings.Excellent neck angle with good string break over saddle.Low string 12th. fret string height.Plays very well indeed.The original cone looks like new.Original case shows some wear but has protected the instrument very well.Free, fully insured FedEx shipping.**Actually I reckon it's from mid 1929 due to the red logo border and absence of serial # stamp.
