Up for sale is a very cool 1960s Kay Speed Demon Semi Acoustic Guitar. These old Kay / Harmony guitars have had a massive resurgence in the last few years with the likes of Jack White – Alabama Shakes – Black Keys using them . As you can see from the pictures it is a great looking guitar that will definetly get you noticed . It has a light resonant body with a tone you will only find on these USA Kay guitars , making them great for Rock / Blues / Soul . The guitar plays well with a good action and nice neck but please do not expect a “ shredders “ action . . The frets show some wear and common with all Kay guitars the are quite low but still playable. Considering the guitar is around 50 years old it is in remarkable condition , it doe has some normal marks but nothing major . The guitar comes with a old hard case , not too sure if it is origianal as it seems a bit too big but is from the same period .
