You are viewing a pre-CBS 1960 Fender Stratocaster.  It spent most of its life under a bed until it was given to a family member for continued safe keeping. It was purchased while the original owner was in college.  He never really learned to play it.  It is all original.  No work has ever been done to it. Paint is original.  As you will see, there are minor chips upon close inspection, but for what it is, it is in excellent condition.  The truss has never been adjusted and the neck is still as straight as the day it was purchased in 1960. The Brazilian  rosewood slab fretboard is immaculate. It sounds amazing; (better than my own 2013 American Strat).  On the occasions it was played, it was played as a rythm guitar, never lead (owner was just a novice chorder). This is a hardtail.  Many purists agree that hardtails sound better than those with tremelo. (I agree).  They are also more rare.  The original tweed case comes with it.  It is in good condition. The latches still work.  The handle is somewhat fraid. The body is very solid. (I  even have the original grey cable).Vintage guitars of this quality do not show up on the market very often.  She's ready for a good home.  I am in Texas if you want to pick it up.
