1957 Gibson Les Paul TV SpecialAn absolute Stone Cold classic!This guitar is an absolute joy to play.All original except:Period Correct Aged TV Yellow RefinishPots are a mixture of 50's and 70's (all vintage)Switch tip Strap buttonsRefrettedWhen I bought this guitar, it had lost it's original TV Yellow finish sometime in the 70's to a gloopy, thick Silver poly finish which weighed 3oz!! I fully expected this to be concealing a heel break or at best a headstock crack. When I stripped the guitar, I was very pleased to find that there were NO BREAKS at all. The winning bidder will be sent a file of pictures of the restoration from beginning to completion to show that there is no funny business going on.Stunning Brazilian Rosewood fretboard.The Special was refinished with 100% Nitrocellulose lacquer and sympathetically aged with weather checking and a little forearm wear.The guitar sounds spectacular and is very resonant. It has a real top end sparkle, the original 50's P90's clean up beautifully and, IMO, are the best pickups Gibson have ever made.Pick up this awesome gigging machine before I change my mind, this is a GENUINE 1957 TV SPECIAL for less than a new Reissue....it's a no brainer!! ;-)Any questions, please ask.Serious enquires are invited on 07977 780901Cash/Bank Transfer on Collection much preferred.**TRADES** The ONLY trade I would be interested in would be a mid 60's Fender Telecaster.
