Welcome to this auction for a slightly used, FENDER "SPLATTERCASTER" STRATOCASTER electric guitar, Splatter over SEAFOAM GREEN. This bolt-on neck guitar is in excellent to near mint condition, with hardly any blemishes. Struggle to see any pick scratches. The only thing you might complain about, is there is minor corrosion on some of the screw heads, and bridge parts. Other than that, looks new. 25_1/2" scale. The nut width is 1_5/8". 21 frets. Nice neck profile; plays fast. Rosewood fretboard. We do not use stock photos. The item(s) in the pictures is / are the item(s) being shipped. As with most used / vintage guitars, you will find a few scars, scratches, dings, and dents (and not limited to, those referred to or shown in the pictures). But, in this case, basically none. Minimal to zero fret wear. Truss rod turns both directions. Please note the dc reading of the pickups, and the toggle position for each pickup. All switches and knobs WORK. Sounds great. Make a great investment addition to your collection! You should always expect to set up a guitar to meet YOUR specifications, as what I like may not be what you prefer. This guitar is no different. You will want to set it up for yourself. The following is taken from a Fender informational Website:"Splattercaster Special Editions were made only in Mexico and only in 2003 (there are a couple of very rare exceptions that were made in 2002); it was designed to demonstrate the wider range of paint and finish capabilities that Fender had placed in its new manufacturing plant in Mexico.
