Hi and welcome to my listing If you are looking for a rare vintage Stratocaster in Olympic White then look no further! Born February 15th 1984 by J Serna.Neck is straight and action is fast and low, set up by a professional luthier. The guitar was purchased by a collector in 1991 and stored without being played thereafter until I purchased this really beautiful guitar 25 years later (what a crime eh?).I have only used it to test my pedals (bigZed). So not gigged...by me anyway! This is one of the very last redesigned “2 Knob Jobs” which has a 90 degree jack socket where the second tone control used to be. This model only appeared on the market from 1983 to 1984 after which all USA built Fender guitar ceased to be built until the employees in 1985 started a campaign to re-open the factory doors and eventually bought the company and renamed it Fender Musical Instrument Company (FMIC). So this is a rare strat indeed especially for a collector. Or if you want to be playing a vintage Fender then this is surely for you...it's even to right colour!!!! It’s in extremely good condition but has some very minor buckle rash on the rear, 2 little scratches thats all. The headstock lacquer has lifted in places but a professional luthier has treated this and prevented any more from lifting, you can see this in the pics.Comes with original hardshell case. I am selling as I prefer an acoustic and looking for a nice Martin so I am willing to part exchange so give me a call?Postage includes insurance cost and a one day delivery service to mainland UK so please ask for quote if outside? Cheers for looking.
