Boosey and Hawkes BBb Imperial tuba for sale. The BBb Imperial is considered by many of the top UK tuba players to be superior to the more modern sovereign - they really are a good instrument and they were certainly made to last. This particular tuba was made in 80/81 which makes it one of the last Imperials that were made and this is a very nice example of these great instruments. 4 valve compensating with the sought after 19" bell in frosted silver with bright silver accents. All the slides are free and good compression on the valves. The instrument plays very well as you would expect. This is a used instrument and does have some dents but nothing that will affect how it plays - I would describe it as good used condition. Comes with the original hard case. If you wish to try the instrument please message me or contact me on 07561 822690 My preference is that the instrument is collected in person given the size and risk of damage - but shipping can be arranged on the understanding that the buyers takes full responsibility for any damage. Any international bidders will need to arrange their own shipping. Regarding payment my preference is cash on collectin or bank transfer.
