This is a very rare and very well made unique vintage style mid 1990's Les Paul style guitar.
Made IN USA (Chandler Guitars-San francisco , CA) featuring:
a 25,5 (fender) scale lenght fretboard (not Gibson 24,75" scale) for better harmonics and slightlytighter string tension.
Gibson shape headstock profile 17' degree headstock pitch.
Schaller tuners.
Slim'60's' neck carve- straight neck ´jumbo frets in near mint condition.
No playing issues.
As Paul Chandler explains the longer scale increases string tension which increases sustain, has a brighter tone and improves tuning stability especially on the 'G' sytring which is always the most difficult string on a Gibson. The result is superlong sustain and exceptional note definition and clarity, clean or distorted, even on the neck pickup.
He doesn't think any more than 20 were made total; mosts of which went to European customers.
---
'I am still playing the first one of these guitars we ever made; it has served me well on hundreds of gigs over the years. Nothing else I have ever tried even comes close. It just rings; feels great, and looks cool.
The guitar can speak for itself; here is a youtube link of me playing the guitar'.
