I am selling a hand restored Ibanez S Series guitar.  A friend in high school gave it to me is horrible shape due to his negligence toward it. It was downright unplayable.  I had no use for it because I am a lefty so it went into storage for about 12 years. I found it a few months ago and decided to restore it as a weekend project. Now that it's pretty much done, I'm ready to sell it.  About the guitar This is an early Ibanez S Series guitar. It has no front facing fret markers other then the 12th fret that features an offset double dot. This actually helps emphasise the beautiful contrasting colors in the rich rosewood fretboard. The guitars electronics were rusted through and through and have been replaced with new pots, switch and pickups. (still have plastic covers) All hardware on guitar is stock. Or at least is what was there when I received it. The locking nut, I have just recently discovered, is stripped due to the original owner over tightening the pads. It is about a 15$ repair, and at the time of posting I have not yet ordered new part. The bridge is a genuine Ibanez Zero Return 1st Generation Floyd Rose. Any Floyd Rose Player would love to have this bridge for its easy to use features and sustainability. This bridge works on a ball barring hinge rather then a knife edge design. Ibanez soon discontinued this model due to licensing issues and cost efficiency. They followed up with a new system based off the Zero Return System, called the Zero Point System. Shame though because it's not nearly as well designed.  The guitar has been painted with automotive grade satin on both the neck and body, giving it somewhat of a American hotrod look and feel.  Given the condition this guitar was in when I received it and all the hours of work that went into its repair, I'd say this guitar plays and feels great. Price is 700, but I'm willing to entertain reasonable offers. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you for looking.
