ESP KH-2 RELIC serial 000 Prototype
Kirk Hammett Metallica Made in 2000 - SIGNED!!!
STORY OF THIS GUITAR: ESP custom shop made this guitar in 2000 as prototype for the 2001 KH-2 Relic limited edition series of 100 guitars, numbered from "NO.001" to "NO.100". Kirk has NO.001 and play it frequently on stage as backup of his main original ESP MM-290 NTB called "Hot Caution". This prototype was the first made copying directly Kirk's main stage guitar, was numbered "NO.000" and was in exposition at winter NAMM 2000. Every detail was considered, including the wear and tear resulting from years of extensive touring. Starting from 2002 ESP continue to produce the KH-2 Vintage with standard not limited numeration. During years first 100s became "mith" guitars and today value is over €6000. This guitar was made before these 100s as prototype and not for sale on the market. Was kept in ESP factory until 2006, in 2007 goes to Armand Crump (Slayer guitar tech) who sold to me in 2008. Armand told me Kirk test this guitar with his hands, but I don't have pics or proove, so this is only for knowledge and it does not affect the price. From 2008 was kept in mint condition as part of my collection. Prototypes are very very rare and unobtainable, and normally cost twice much as market production. C.o.a. is made by GuitarsCollector.com because prototype does not comes with c.o.a. and also the hardcase is part of ESP 2000 line, not the one used from 2001 for all the relic-vintage series. In 2015 Kirk signed it on the back plate at Milan Meet & Greet. The real value of this guitar could exceed 10.000 euros, but I sell it almost at the price of a standard relic, which is still an important price, but it's really a great opportunity for Metallica fans or collectors like me. Thank you. CONDITIONS: mint, no dents, no dings, no scratcher (over the original relic), no fretwear SPECS: VIDEO: INFOS - PICS - OFFER - NEGOTIATION:
