Good Wood Era Tone Monster! (Stock #1036)This Les Paul is from what many people consider the best era for reissues. Gibson was using top quality woods during this era of late 90s and early 2000s. It really shows in the tone of this one. It's a very powerful guitar that really sings. It has great sustain and clarity while being very woody sounding. It plays perfectly with a nice chunky C shape neck. The top has a nice subtle flame throughout, giving it a great vintage vibe. The top and color remind me of the original STP/Montrose Burst. The color is somewhere between a faded tea and lemon. This one is in excellent condition for a 18 year old guitar. There are a few dings on the top. Other than that it is in great shape, including the frets. Everything appears to be original with the exception of caps and pickups.
