Collector’s Item, Lots of pics below! This auction is for an Ibanez George Benson GB100 guitar made in 2002.The ultimate collectible George Benson model and probably the most beautiful one. This one is stunningly beautiful. Ibanez put in so much attention to quality and details on this model. The GB100 is rare and hard to find. It is essentially a beefed up GB10, incredibly beautiful, with mother of pearl bindings and accented tiger stripes. The body is flamed maple. Neck is a 3pcs Mable/Mahogany with an Ebony fingerboard with special inlay. The GB100 is, per Mr. Benson's request, half an inch deeper compared to a GB10.  Fantastic playability, neck and sound. Plugged in, tone appears to be somewhat deeper compared to an ordinary GB10 but it still has the clear mellow punchiness.  Last sentence highly subjective, of course. The guitar has been living in a smoke free humidity controlled environment.ConditionIt has some minor dings on the lower side of the rim (see pictures) but that is it. It is easily a 9.8 out of 10.The placement of the strap button surprised me when I got the guitar. Not totally uncommon, but a first for me. What is so surprising about it, is that it is very comfortable to play standing up. You might get the impression that the guitar would flip away from you but it does not at all. It feels (and is) completely safe. What it does is; it gives the guitar a slightly different angle which for me is how I would hold the guitar when playing sitting down. The frets show no signs of wear. Currently strung with D’Addario Cromes 013. Neck is straight with low buzz-free action. Original Hard Shell Case in “as new” condition.Shipping:The guitar will ship in its original hard shell case inside a robust carbon guitar box. The box measures 127x51x17 centimeters. Total weight when packed for shipping will be 10 kilos, (the carbon box weighs 3 kilos). I will ship from postal code 41311 in Gothenburg, Sweden.Shipping costs are to be determined after auction end.
