1920s Leedy Black Elite Engraved : 5x14 Here is a nice complete 1920s Leedy Black Elite Engraved Snare Drum. This drum features black enamel coating with the scroll style engraving and gold plated hardware. The drum has no extra holes in the shell, however does have on hole that was drilled in the batter hoop. This does not affect the playability or sound of the drum. The drum also features the early Pesto strainer which dates this to pre-1926. One of the previous owners pulled the backing plates for the lugs, so these are currently mounted directly to the shell with the screw and nuts. Please see interior photos.
