For sale is my 1978 Gretsch Committee. Bought from Willie's Guitars in St Paul, Minneapolis in 2007. The Guitar is in good condition and sounds great. There are some minor dings and scratches, mainly on the back of the body. Further pictures can be sent. Nice natural gloss finish on the walnut and maple body and neck with a clear pickguard and chrome hardware. The guitar has a nice action and 3-piece through body maple and walnut thin profile neck with a bound rosewood fretboard. The frets are in very good condition. All original parts. The 2 Gotoh humbuckers have a nice tone with good output. The electronics are a volume and tone for each pickup and a pickup selector. This is a very rare guitar! You'll do well to find another in the U.K. It comes with the original, neon green-lined original Gretsch case (with key) and is packed with the original HSC service card. The serial number is marked as: Model: 7628 Serial number: 1-9216 I am open to sensible offers. If you're local to me, feel free to contact and come and try it out!
