Hi peeps - you are looking at a genuine 1955 Fender Telecaster neck and genuine 1955 string tree.It was purchased from a dealer in the states some years ago for a project but i couldn't find the body to go with it. Rare and Vintage in London looked at it and concurred it was authentic But wanted serious £s to write a report. Another guitar dealer looked at it and offered me $5000 on the spot. I paid a lot more than that. Its a beautiful looking neck and i put it on the Butterscotch Tele project I have on the go to show it off. The guitar body does NOT come with the neck. I did the same with the heads. These are Bill Callaham cold-rolled steel exact replicas and you can see they are a perfect fit. The ferrules are original and I expect anyone would want to get the Callaham's distressed version to match the neck so they DO NOT come with the neck. Its pretty clear the neck has been re-finished and it wouldn't surprise me if the decal is a fresh one. My 64 strat decal just vanished and if i had my wits about me would've refinished it as well. Its a light finish and helps seal the neck as there are places where it is worn through. It currently has a left-handed nut and not much meat at all on the frets. The neck is slightly bowed but ringed up and truss rod adjusted will straighten up/relieve nicely.....I do have 1955 saddles if you are interested but they are not included in the sale.Viewing is possible in Sydney (with notice) or Katoomba. International bidders welcome but will be asked to pay freight and insurance. Thanks for looking and please check my other items.....
