| This auction is for a one of a kind and extremely rare Wimbrola Vintage Folk Uke that is being sold directly from the Wimbrow Family Estate. This Uke was the first Favilla Bros Wimbrola instrument ever constructed! The inscription reads: "PRESENTED TO DOTTY MY WIFE THE FIRST "WIMBROLA". Excellent mahogany construction and rare build with abundant mother of pearl inlays. Regular signs of use consistent with age. There is some surface scratching on the back of the body and the top varnish coat is peeling however the wood is in very good condition with no cracks or splitting. Handcrafted early 1920s. Measures 25" in total length; the body measures 12" long, 9" wide and 3" deep. More photos available below the description. Shipping insured via UPS.
