| |Up for sale, a Fender Jazzmaster custom built from all premium USA-made parts in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. This "Partsmaster" boasts a genuine USA American Special Jazzmaster neck, Warmoth officially Fender licensed body (also USA made), Mastery M1 bridge, Mastery Offset Vibrato, and a pair of Seymour Duncan "Vintage Jazzmaster" black bobbin pickups. This bevy of boutique parts come together to deliver exactly what you want from a Jazzmaster, with the detail, warmth, and nuance that comes with a pair of authentically wound Jazzmaster single coils. While the bridge pickup can be twangy, strident, and bell-like, the neck position can get quite wooly and thick, all with great percussive clarity. The Rhythm Circuit on the bass side body horn adds another range of useable settings, with a unique, darker circuit dedicated to the neck pickup that helps thicken up the sound of your favorite fuzz, and can push a tube amp towards its saturation point. The guitar weighs in at 8lbs 6oz, has a prominent acoustic voice, and balances well on a strap. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, this Jazzmaster is dialed in with fresh 11-50 strings, low action, and solid intonation. The genuine USA Fender "American Special" Jazzmaster maple neck features a thick slab rosewood fretboard and a smooth satin finish on the medium C profile. The profile stays fairly consistent in depth and feels substantial while still staying moderately slender, with slight shoulders and easy playability in all registers. The stock jumbo frets are virtually flawless, with no notable wear and perfectly rounded crowns. The stock Fender nut is intact and measures 1 11/16" in width. On the headstock, this guitar sports a rare and discontinued set of TonePros Kluson-style tuners, which have a very smooth response and improved gear ratio for a vintage look and modern performance. All of the electronics are high quality USA-made components, with full size CTS pots, Switchcraft switches, and vintage-style cloth wiring, all neatly dressed and cleanly soldered. The pickguard is a white Warmoth guard, which has a nice subtle contrast with the cream pickup covers, knobs, and switch tip. Two essential pieces of hardware for any premium Offset build, this Jazzmaster features both the Mastery M1 bridge, and Mastery's Offset Vibrato. These components work together beautifully, ensuring optimal string stability, sustain, and responsiveness. The only vibrato unit which can match a vintage Fender part for performance, the Mastery unit is perfect for deep dives, subtle flutters, and everything in between, jumping right back to the original pitch with ease. The arm collet is also adjustable and the Mastery arm features their exclusive "UFO" machined aluminum tip. Other finishing touches include a geniune Fender chrome "F" neck plate and chrome strap buttons.Cosmetically, this guitar is near mint, with a deep metalflake Candy Apple Red nitro lacquer finish on the alder Warmoth body. Aside from a couple extremely faint scratches in the clear coat on the back of the guitar (and by "a couple" we truly mean exactly two scratches total), there's no wear of note and this freshly constructed Jazzmaster checks virtually every box on a custom Offset guitar wishlist.
