Here is a great MIJ Custom Telecaster  guitar with a rosewood board (21 frets).  It has an upgrade in pickups, Rio Grande and has an upgrade Wilkinson vintage style bridge with Fender brass barrel saddles.  The Short Horn Bridge and a Big Bottom neck Rio Grande pups were put in several years back at a cost of $190.  The originals are no longer around.  The pick guard is upgraded to a solid matte black with the neck pickup cover removed but included with the instrument.  The "ash tray" bridge pickup cover is included and shown in some of the pics. This is a great sounding guitar with plenty of bite and bottom.  Played unplug it resonates beautifully. It may sound trite, but it is an exceptional players guitar. There is little to no fret where.  There is no buckle rash on the back.  Mostly, the guitar has been played in the studio with no road wear. However, it is 30 years old and cosmetically there are a few nicks and finish wear as pictured (wear is around the bottom rear next to binding).  The neck is in perfect shape.  No marks on the back of the neck and there are no signs of wear either.  This is the "C" style profile neck. You will be very happy with this guitar; as noted it is an excellent MIJ from the mid 80's.  This was made when Fender closed the Fullerton plant and all Telecasters were made in Japan during the mid 80's.  They are considered to be comparable to the Teles made in the USA.
I am starting the bidding for this Custom Telecaster with a TKL hardshell case for $999.  Shipping is an additional $39.00.I do discuss serious offers; just send me a note or a reasonable offer....'hope to hear from you!
