This is maybe not only a RARE piece...but could also be considered a ONE-OF-A-KIND piece!! Hopefully the pictures do it the justice deserves because in person it truly is...excuse the language...ONE BAD-ASS LOOKING PIECE!!You can see it's a guitar HOWEVER...it's done completely with stained/leaded glass!! It's almost got like a "3 dimensional" look to it the way the maker (it's signed too!) di the piece! If you notice you'll see smaller pieces of stained/leaded glass that go around the entire back portion of this guitar!The maker even did some portions on the fret areas and the main part of the guitar with "metallic" looking pieces of stained/leaded glass.This truly is ONE REMARKABLE looking piece!!There's a few (minor) cracks on some of the glass (about 3-4) which you can see in the pictures around the neck areas and the main part of the guitar. HOWEVER...if you look at the pictures you can hardly even notice them ESPECIALLY when it's hanging on the wall!This guitar measures about 45 inches tall from the very bottom to the very top and at the widest points it measures about 16 inches wide.You can hopefully see too it's got a set of "copper" type of wire (6 STRINGS!!!) that the artist used as the strings to this guitar running all the way up the neck to the area where the strings attach both on the front of the guitar and the back of the guitar where the "main piece" is!There's a bracket on the back behind the "main piece" of the guitar and a long screw at the top of the fret/neck area...no idea if they'll be "automatic" wall mounts or not so you may have to come up with your own way to mount this WONDERFUL looking piece!!!
It is "Signed" by the artist but we are unable to make out the signature!Being a used item it will show normal wear to it due to age/use such a minor cosmetic flaws-cracked glass and made need a good cleaning/polishing.
