1999 Gibson Les paul Special.soapbar pickups, upgraded locking grover tuners, new nut, upgraded tailpiece and saddle.The guitar was stripped to it's Mahogany finish a few years back and a coat of danish oil put on.A lovely vintage finish, and much better than the original red in my opinion.Nashville Plant, TN, USA

Production Number: 166It has a few knocks here and there, and buckle rash on back but it plays lovely and soinds great.I flipped the magnet in the neck pickup to get the out of phase sound when in the middle position.To me it just adds another sound as the middle option never got used much...In the mid position now it cleans up and a slight volume decrease....I use that alot now.The tuners are grover locking tuners... thread the string, bend the string at a angle and tighten the tuner...Easy as it sounds.This is not a new guitar and has age marks for a instrument 17yrs old...It has been gigged many alot and never let me down....look at the photo's as this is what you are getting.it's a great guitar.locking strap buttons have been added.volume controls could need a clean with switch cleaner but a ten minute job.The case will be included and all intact.Has some fret wear but years left in them.Fantastic look and a great sound.Ideally pick up but will send for £20...if you want it insured let me know otherwise it's the risk you take.
I will wrap it well with plenty of cardboard etc and get a thick cardboard guitar box from the music shop by me. I will do a good job !

The tuners are grover locking tuners... thread the string, bend the string at a angle and tighten the tuner...Easy as it sounds.This is not a new guitar and has age marks for a instrument 17yrs old...It has been gigged many alot and never let me down....look at the photo's as this is what you are getting.
