Eastman AR371CE Archtop Guitar with Hard Shell Case What a great jazz box this is, an extremely nice, gently used, "just for a recording project", no smoke...like new.
You will see more wear on guitars hanging in stores. This is a modern take on the classic ES-175 style jazz guitar made famous by Wes Montgomery among others. The build quality is all there: Maple all around with Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. A single Kent Armstrong HPAN-1N pickup in the neck position yields a spectrum of sound from sweet acoustic tones to dark brooding jazz for the wee hours. The natural reverb of the archtop acoustic is enough with no reverb necessary on the amp. Try it through a Fender Pro Junior and the tone will make your girlfriend weep with joy. It's that good. Just crank your tube amp to max headroom and use your master tone and volume on the guitar to create a whole palette of archtop swagger. The action is unreal...it plays like butter with perfect intonation. I have it strung with flat wound nickels and it practically plays itself. This fine instrument is supplied with the hard shell Eastman case shown and COA/certificate of authenticity. Eastman's pitch: Laminated maple top, back and sides.
