What makes this guitar special: A true vintage beauty with a cool vibe & dynamite tone! Just recently acquired from the original owner who loved playing it, as evidenced by the finish wear on the back & the changed tuners. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds amazing!Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear, just the way we like 'em - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking, buckle rash & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.Neck: Slender mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets are pretty small & definitely not what most modern players prefer. They do show quite a bit of wear, but there's still some life in them, however, a pro refret would really make this baby come alive. The original Kluson tuners were replaced with Grover Rotomatics. The low E tuner is missing its back, but they're all in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is functioning.Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles. 5-ply black pickguard in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 3.8 oz.Pickups: Original Gibson Pat No. humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 7.48K ohms; Neck - 7.51K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.Case: Original hardshell case - a bit worse for the wear with some tears in the tolex & a slightly loose top.
