FENDER "LITE ASH" 52' TELECASTER & HISCOX HARDCASE
Rare Near Mint 2008 Example Of This Revered Telecaster (Serial Number: 08041659)

Hello and welcome to my auction,a very special treat here, this NEAR MINT and very beautiful 2008 Fender "Lite Ash" Telecaster is the cream of the crop, if you're checking out this listing then you'll probably know a lot about this beautiful guitar but for those who do not... the "Lite Ash" was a line built for a very limited time, designed by the experts at Fender Japan's Custom Shop but built in Korea, the guitar was to exhibit just what Fender's 'Far Eastern' production facilities could do on a reduced budget.  It incorporated incredible specs, many of which were precursors to parts and equipment that would be used on newer guitars to follow.  For Telecaster fans, this is considered one of the best that Fender ever made... The "Lite Ash" body is absolutely stunning, with vivid grain and a stunning polish to it that is in almost immaculate condition, based on classic 52' style specs, the guitar has a 50's style single ply black pickguard, Ashtray bridge with Brass Saddles, classic control plate with rounded-top control knobs and 3-way selector switch.  The neck is a real piece of art: a 2-piece Birdseye Maple neck sporting 22 Medium Jumbo frets and beautiful Abalone dot inlays and a comfy C-Profile that is bound to have Tele fans in awe of how smooth it plays
(with a Fender engraved neck plate).  The headstock features the pre-cursor to the Fender 'Pawn Shop' headstock logo and two Fender USA string trees for improved performance, as well as GOTOH designed Tuners that were some of the first on a Fender to feature the 'screw-less' fitting design. The only non-original element of this guitar are the pickups, the original Seymour Duncan models were very harsh and scratchy, which wasn't to my taste so it was fitted with a set of Fender 62' Re-issue Telecaster pickups to give her a much warmer, brighter and more natural telecaster tone that I am sure will appeal to the seasoned Tele fan.The condition is excellent, unbelievable in fact - I would consider this to be as close to 'collector's condition' as you could get with minimal play wear and signs of use throughout.  The age of the piece means she has to be listed as 'used' but genuinely outstanding condition and not to be missed, electronics perfect, great tone, great guitar.  I am financing some new studio equipment including a new pedal board and amplifier so I have to sadly bid this one farewell, hoping she will go to a good home and be regularly enjoyed!!!  A brand new Hiscox Hardcase (worth £130.00) will go absolutely FREE to the buyer who pays the full 'buy it now' price, so I have priced accordingly to sell based upon the rarity and outstanding condition of this highly respected and sought after Telecaster (which you can tell, I will miss!).  Sold 'as seen' - a great package for any musician, you can't get much better than this at this price and all the details you should need are pictured, so if you have any questions then feel free to contact me otherwise...Good luck!!!
