Fender Standard Stratocaster Plus Top Guitar Maple Aged Cherry Sunburst Mint MX2015The Standard Stratocaster Plus Top delivers famous Fender tone and classic style, with the added elegance of a flame maple top on the alder body. Other features include three single-coil pickups, tinted maple neck with modern "C"-shaped profile and satin urethane back finish, rosewood or maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets and 9.5" radius, three-ply parchment pickguard and parchment control knobs, vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge and '70s-style headstock logo. Available in Tobacco Sunburst (rosewood fingerboard) and Aged Cherry Burst (maple fingerboard). This is absolutely a top-of-the-line product from Fender’s Mexico factory, and the pickups are just extraordinary! The best Strat pickups I have had on any past guitar IMHO. The after-market Violin style case is really neat and protective too. And of course there is all the case candy and the tremolo arm as part of the package. The ONLY reason I am selling is that I have for a long time been a bit string blind on Maple fret boards, but I loved the sound and playability of this guitar (with an amazing set-up by the previous owner) enough to make an exception. I, however, simply play better on Rosewood fret boards where I can see the strings clearly. So Check out my 100% positive feedback and 411 Turquoise Stars on eBay. I will mail this registered trackable and fully insured anywhere in Oz for only $40. Or I can meet the winning buyer pretty much anywhere in Sydney’s Northern and Central suburbs for a handover. (I now live in Brooklyn, the buyer could also drive up here if preferred.)GeneralBodyBody Material: Alder with Flame Maple Top Body Finish: Polyester Body Shape: Stratocaster NeckNeck Material: Maple Neck Finish: Satin Urethane Finish on Back of Neck, Gloss Finish on the Face of the Headstock Neck Shape: Modern "C" Scale Length: 25.5" (648 mm) Fingerboard Material: Rosewood or Maple Fingerboard Radius: 9.5" (241 mm) Number of Frets: 21 Fret Size: Medium Jumbo Nut Material: Synthetic Bone Nut Width: 1.650" (42 mm) Position Inlays: Black or White Dot Truss Rod Nut: 3/16" Hex Adjustment ElectronicsNeck Pickup: Standard Single-Coil Strat Middle Pickup: Standard Single-Coil Strat Bridge Pickup: Standard Single-Coil Strat Pickup Switching: 5-Position Blade: Position 1. On 27-Oct-16 at 11:17:27 AEDST, seller added the following information:The case candy I have included is Owner's Manual, Tremelo Arm, Fender Polishing Cloth, genuine Schaller strap locks Made in Germany, and a spare set of Elixir Custom Light 9-46 strings (Elixir are the longest lasting best sounding strings as you may know) which match the new set on the guitar. This guitar has been my main axe at three Blues Collective gigs in Sydney, and at a Sydney Blues Society Jam. I won't embarrass him by revealing is name, but one of the great Strat players and recording artists in Australia guested with our band one night and used this axe which he said was a truly great Strat! So there!
